What is The Life Guidebook?

About This Blog

When you buy a toy or a new equipment, let’s say a new car, it comes with a user’s guide or manual wherein it tells basically everything you should know firsthand about the product. It contains specifications, warnings, user maintenance procedures, contact details and websites of where you can find support for anything that you might need help with while using the product. It even has a list of do’s and don’ts to help take good care of it and enjoy the features to its fullest. It also includes a directory of accessories that you can utilize, what they are for, and where to buy them.

With that concept, ever wondered how convenient it would be if life has a user’s manual or guidebook? Wherein if there is something in your life that you are unsure about or you think you are doing it wrong, there would always be an available guide around that you can grab. With such a guide, you can already check the things that you should and should not do before actually getting into trouble. If you are into going beyond the ordinary, or if you want to zest things up, the manual would also show a list of what you can do, a link to other guides, plus, a list of access to any assistance possible. That would have prevented us from making bad decisions in life or going into the dark side (may the force be with youJ) and you can go about smoothly enjoying the things you can do with your life.

This is what this guide is primarily for, hence the title, “The Life Guidebook”. The idea is to create an easy database to check for the fundamentals of life, tried and tested advices, how to prevent trouble, and find solutions if you get into one-just like a troubleshooting manual.

But is it really possible? Life itself has endless possibilities and people differ from each other in varieties of ways and categories. How could a single guidebook be applicable to everyone?

Well, if you come to think of it, guides like these are already available in all sorts of forms. They may not be bluntly labeled as “Life’s User Manual” or “The How to Live Your Life Book”, but such guides are indeed everywhere. They can be in a form of a book, magazine, a person you know, or your teacher. It could be your parents sharing their experiences in life or a friend who had been in trouble recently. The Holy Bible, Koran, Torah, or your religion’s philosophies and principles are also a good example of these. The main point is, these things or ideas help you into realizing things and allow you to contemplate on them possibly even before you get into trouble, or if you are already in one, they help you get out of it. They make you see the world in a much wider perspective and be open for endless possibilities.

If such guides already exist, then why bother creating this blog?

Personally, I keep a journal of the things that could help improve my life. As I mentioned, there are a great deal of materials that could help you in achieving that, but of course, you cannot be following all of them. In addition, they are virtually all over the place that it is easy to overlook at them. Such inspirations, ideas, and guides may differ from your preferences and there are things that might not really interest you. So, I will specifically order them in this blog into different topics, preferences, and genre with the ultimate goal in providing a convenient guidebook for the basic issues that a human being could encounter in his life.

This blog might not be able to take hold of every concern in life, but with your help through giving suggestions, comments, and articles, we should be able to grasp the most significant ones. As the saying goes, no man is an island. This blog will not be successful without your help and if you have some stories or advice to share, please feel free to add it here. Just make a suggestion or comment, or email me at thesagelion@gmail.com for any wisdom you could impart and if it would be for the greater good, it would be included here as well.

With the significant development of technology, the world has indeed become smaller and information can now reach anyone like wildfire. But of course, as we know, this is a double-edged sword. There are a lot of destructive information out there that could corrupt minds and we do not want people, especially the future generation to be pondering on them instead of those that are constructive. Technology is a blessing to us we should use it to promote those that are good and would be beneficial for mankind.

You have the power to make this possible. This is the guidebook of life. From time to time, this would be updated and WE have to put in here as much useful guides as possible. I myself do not experience everything in life as that is not possible, we all live in different circumstances and we need as much noble help as we can get to help those who need us.

I strongly believe that such a guidebook would be possible. This site is currently in its seed form and you might find it lacking a lot of things, but someday, with everybody’s help, we can make a decent guidebook for living life to its fullest.  Let us work together and may true love, wisdom, and peace be with us always! ^_^
